Images and specs of the Lumia 900 leak ahead of launch



Rumors surrounding Nokia's upcoming flagship handset, the Lumia 900 has been doing the rounds for quite some time now. It was first previewed in a video, which was taken down and later on images of the handset had surfaced displaying a front facing camera along with it being available in various colours. It was believed that the smartphone would run on the Tango build of Windows Phone 7, but now, according to a report by Pocketnow, Nokia will release the handset running on the Mango version of the OS, instead during the launch.

The report details that that it will be as thick as the Lumia 800, but will weigh 160g, which is 18g more. Here is a quick look at the specifications of what the Lumia 900 may have:


  • Windows Phone 7 Mango
  • 4.3-inch ClearBlack WVGA display
  • 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 12mm thick
  • 1830mAh battery

These are all the specifications that are available at the moment, but if the report is anything to go by, then we should see the handset being unveiled at CES, which is scheduled to begin in a few days from now. The launch of the Nokia Lumia 900 is believed to be in March.
