Windows Store gets previewed, ahead of February launch


Microsoft’s VP of Windows Web Services, Antoine LeBlond has announced a late February opening of the Windows Store on Windows 8 Beta, and encouraged developers to start creating Metro style apps and other software for it, during the Windows Store Preview that also described its features, app polices and business terms.

According to Microsoft, the Windows Store was designed with an emphasis on discoverability and reach.

Check out the below video, highlighting Windows Store. Microsoft has also announced the First Apps Contest, with developers getting the chance for their apps to be available on the Windows Store when it launches, right along with the Windows 8 Beta.
